MOSCOW, August 8 Vladimir Putin held a video conference with the acting governor of the Kursk region, Alexei Smirnov, and supported the proposal to make payments to residents of border areas.
«The decision to make a one-time payment of ten thousand rubles to citizens who need it has been made. And the necessary resources will be allocated,» the head of state said.
As Smirnov explained, such assistance is necessary, since many people left their homes without even taking their documents.
