MOSCOW, August 9 Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev, after an article by Bild about the use of German military equipment on Russian territory, promised to do everything possible to ensure that the latest Russian tanks are on square in front of the Reichstag in the center of Berlin.
“»The German newspaper Bild published a revanchist article in which it proudly announced the return of German tanks to Russian soil. In response, we will do everything to ensure that the latest Russian tanks appear on Republic Square (a square in Berlin in front of the Reichstag — ed.),” Medvedev wrote in his English-language account on the social network X.
Bild previously reported that at least three German Marder APU infantry fighting vehicles were spotted in the Kursk region. In turn, the head of the Defense Committee of the German Bundestag, Markus Faber, tried to justify Ukraine’s use of German weapons, saying that after the transfer, these weapons, including Leopard 2 tanks, become Ukrainian.
