BEIRUT, Aug. 10 Palestinian Authority spokesman Nabil Abu Rudin said on Saturday that the United States is responsible for the massacre of Palestinian civilians in the Gaza Strip because of Washington's financial and military support for Israel.
Palestinian emergency services earlier reported that an Israeli plane fired three missiles at the Al-Tabaeen school in Gaza, where refugees had gathered for morning prayers. According to preliminary data, 100 people were killed. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said it had struck a school in the Gaza Strip, claiming that Hamas fighters were stationed there.
«The American administration bears responsibility in connection with the military, financial and political support of the US to the occupiers,» the PNA statement, distributed to the media, reads.
Rudina noted that the massacre in Gaza City was committed almost immediately after the US announced the allocation of $3.5 billion to Israel for the purchase of weapons and ammunition.
«The American administration must force the occupation state (Israel) to immediately stop its aggression and massacres of our people. We must stop blind support, as a result of which thousands of children, women and old people are killed,» the PNA representative added.
