PARIS, August 10 American rapper and Grammy Award nominee Travis Scott, who spent about two days in custody in Paris after a fight with his bodyguard, was released without trial, the Figaro newspaper reported on Saturday.
The rapper was arrested outside a luxury hotel near the Champs-Elysees the day before for assaulting a security guard who had intervened in a fight to separate two men. On Saturday morning, the Parisien newspaper reported that Scott's detention had been extended.
«Less than 48 hours after his arrest, rapper Travis Scott has been released from custody without being prosecuted,» the article said.
In June, Travis Scott was also arrested in Miami, USA for being in a state of intoxication, disturbing the peace, and illegally entering the territory.
