
MOSCOW, August 13The cargo ship Progress MS-26 has departed from the International Space Station after spending six months as part of it, Roscosmos is broadcasting.
The ship separated from the Zvezda Service Module of the Russian segment of the ISS at 5:00 Moscow time. Its propulsion system is expected to engage in braking at 8:08 Moscow time and operate for more than three minutes. After that, the ship will begin to descend from orbit, and in another half hour it will enter the atmosphere and disintegrate. 
The fall of the non-combustible structural elements of the truck is expected to occur at 8.49 Moscow time. They will splash down in a non-shipping area of the Pacific Ocean 2,330 kilometers from the capital of New Zealand, Wellington, and 7,670 kilometers from the capital of Chile, Santiago.
Progress MS-26 docked with the station on February 17. It delivered water and fuel for the station, medical supplies, clothing and food, as well as equipment for conducting scientific experiments to the ISS. The Progress MS-26 propulsion system was used to perform six corrections of the ISS orbit.
