YEREVAN, August 17 The all-Russian action «Cinema Night» will be held in Armenia for the first time on August 24, the press service of the Rossotrudnichestvo representative office in the republic reported.
«On August 24, for the first time in Armenia, at the Moscow House in Yerevan, the All-Russian event «Cinema Night» will be held, timed to coincide with Russian Cinema Day, celebrated on August 27,» the statement said.
It is noted that the event is organized by Roskino with the support of the Russian Ministry of Culture, the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Cinema Fund.
The press service clarified that every year three of the brightest new releases in Russian cinema are selected for the “Night of Cinema”. This year's program includes the science fiction blockbuster «One Hundred Years Ago» by director Alexander Andryushchenko, the fairy tale «By the Pike's Command» by Alexander Voitinsky, and the military-historical drama «Air» by Alexei German Jr.
