MOSCOW, August 17 The current Italian football champion Inter Milan began the new Serie A season with a draw in an away match against Genoa.
The first round match, which took place on Saturday in Genoa, ended with a score of 2:2. The hosts' goals were scored by Alessandro Vogliacco (20th minute) and Junior Messias (90+6), who missed a penalty two minutes earlier. Marcus Thuram (30, 85) scored twice for the visitors.
In another match of the round, Parma tied with Fiorentina on their home field with a score of 1:1. The hosts' goal was scored by Dennis Man (22), while the Florentines' goal was scored by Cristiano Biraghi (75). The visitors finished the match with a man down after Marin Pograncic (83) was sent off.
