The document proposes to cancel the order of the Ministry of Internal Affairs No. 1024 of 2012 “On the Procedure for Submitting and Considering Materials to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia and its territorial bodies for making a decision on the undesirability of the stay of a foreign citizen or a person without citizenship in the Russian Federation.
One of the paragraphs of this order indicates that the period for consideration of materials on recognizing a person as undesirable should not exceed one month after registration with the central office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The bill also proposes before making a decision on the undesirability of checking whether a foreigner has a family in Russia.
