Silver medalists of the Beijing Olympics in dancing on ice, Victoria Sinitsina and Nikita Katsalapov surpassed the world record in rhythmic dance at the First Channel Cup in Saransk. Sinitsina and Katsalapov scored 93.48 points for the rental, this result exceeds the world record. It will not be counted as official, as it was installed at the domestic Russian start. The world record holders are the French Gabriella Papadakis and Guillaume Sizeron (92.73). The Channel One Cup takes place on March 25-27.
