The Prosecutor General's Office reports that it is checking publications about the «situation» in the city of Bucha, where, after the departure of Russian troops, dozens of bodies of dead civilians with their hands tied were found. This was reported in the telegram channel of the department.
“The false evidence spread by the Ukrainian side is another provocation, a cynical lie and is aimed at discrediting the Russian Army in the context of the information and propaganda war unleashed by the West,” the Prosecutor General’s Office believes.
To prove its version, the department refers to the data of Russian military prosecutors and the Russian Ministry of Defense. What data exactly is not specified.
In addition, the Prosecutor General’s Office assures that their version is supported by the videos that are in the public domain: “In particular, the“ victorious ”recorded on March 31 video of the head of the local administration, shots of empty streets taken when Ukrainian security forces entered the city. These and other data confirm that everything that happened in the city from March 31 until yesterday lies solely on the conscience of the Ukrainian side.”
The Prosecutor General’s Office does not provide any other evidence and promises to check publications about Bucha under the article about fakes about the Russian army.
