CEC Chairwoman Ella Pamfilova called Internet broadcasts from cameras installed in territorial election commissions a threat to the elections. Her speech at a departmental meeting was quoted by the Zakon news agency telegram channel.
“By broadcasting it on the Internet, you endanger [the elections],” the CEC chairwoman commented on the words of the head of the Udmurt Electoral Commission about the Internet broadcast .

In September this year, elections will be held for the heads of 15 regions, deputies of legislative assemblies, councils of deputies of the capitals of the regions, as well as elections to local governments.
During the last elections held in 2021, dozens of cases of violations became known. Thus, videos were published with ballot stuffing at polling stations in St. Petersburg, Kemerovo, Balashikha, the Bryansk region, Udmurtia and other cities and regions.
