MOSCOW, Aug 20 British boxer Callum Smith defeated Frenchman Mathieu Boderlik in a fight in light heavyweight. The fight took place in Jeddah (Saudi Arabia). 32-year-old Smith knocked out 33-year-old Boderlik in the fourth round. Thanks to the victory, Smith became the mandatory challenger for the World Boxing Council (WBC) light heavyweight title. The Briton has to fight with the belt holder Russian Artur Beterbiev. Smith has 30 fights, 29 of which he won (21 by knockout). Boderlik suffered a second defeat in 23 fights.
