The Leninsky District Court of the city of Rostov-on-Don did not cancel the probation of the former coordinator of Open Russia in the Rostov region, Anastasia Shevchenko, since the Federal Penitentiary Service does not know about her whereabouts. This was told by the lawyer Sergei Badamshin.

She also wrote that she left Russia in August.
Shevchenko was the first in Russia to be convicted in the case of cooperation with an «undesirable organization» (Article 284.1 of the Criminal Code). In February 2021, she was given a four-year suspended sentence, then the sentence was reduced to three years. The reason for the criminal case was the publication of a lecture and the organization of political debates under the auspices of Open Russia.
The activist has been more than two years away from the court decision was under house arrest. During the investigation, her 17-year-old daughter, who lived in a boarding school for children with special needs, died.
