MOSCOW, Oct 21 Forward Ivan Miroshnichenko started training with the All-Russian Hockey Team League (VHL) «Omsk Wings». In March, Miroshnichenko was diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma — a tumor disease of the lymphatic system. The player was treated in Germany. In early June, the striker completed a full course of cancer treatment and returned to training. «Hi everyone, happy to be back! Wait!» Miroshnichenko said in a video message posted on the club's page on the VKontakte social network. Last season, Miroshnichenko took part in 31 matches for Omsk Wings in the All-Russian Hockey League, in which he scored 16 points (10 goals + 6 assists). In July, he was selected by the Washington Capitals 20th overall in the first round of the 2022 National Hockey League Draft.
