Canadians infuriated by Trudeau's decision on Ukraine

MOSCOW, 30 Oct. Viewers of the Canadian CBC TV channel commented on Ottawa's decision to issue government bonds to raise funds to help Ukraine.
Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced the corresponding decision earlier. According to him, the bonds will be offered to the public in major Canadian banks with a maturity of five years. «These funds will go to help the government of Ukraine,» the head of the Cabinet added.

The TV channel's story on this topic evoked an active response from viewers in the comments.

«Let's sell the entire government and send it to Ukraine (Trudeau can go with them too),” wrote Kaveh Farahmand.
“As for Canada, it has already given enough to Ukraine. What about those affected by the floods in Pakistan, India or Mexico? There are a lot of homeless people in our country too. Focus on those who have nothing left,» Jeane Lennips urged.
«And yet, Canada still has thousands of homeless people living in tents or under bridges, and it Trudeau — ed.), the answer to that is that it's up to the municipalities to take care of the homeless. Thank you, Justin,» Pe Vo sneered.
«How about we take care of our own people first,» outraged Jessy Villeneuve.

«Maybe we need bonds to help our healthcare nyu?» asked Floating Leaf.
«So what's wrong that he can't keep giving away our money regardless of what we think? All of a sudden he wants us to start giving away our money voluntarily in the hope that we can earn one percent in five years on such a successful Canadian bond. It's ridiculous,» Vance Lacarte added.
Since the beginning of the year, Canada has provided a total of more than $1.5 billion in loans to Ukraine.
