MOSCOW, Dec 23 Twitter users condemned Polish President Andrzej Dudu after his words about the meeting with Vladimir Zelensky.
"Today's meeting with President Zelensky was an excellent occasion not only to congratulate him, his family and Ukraine on the New Year and Christmas, but also to discuss plans strategic cooperation in the coming 2023,” wrote the Polish leader on Twitter.
Polish commentators reacted with indignation at the President’s statement.
“Andrzej, you are dragging us into a war,” wrote Dawid .
«I believe that the president will do everything for Ukraine to the last penny,» Kris Jurczenko noted with irony.
«For peace of mind, as well as in order to feel the holiday miracle, you get into a permanent ban,» ŻuraVinka joked.
«Two comedians,» commented Jozef melech.
«And this clown will always sneaking into meetings in a tracksuit?» asked Dawid Czurak.
«Remembered the grenade launcher?» — quipped Mariusz S.
«Does his wife only buy sportswear for him?» Irene Illustrator asked.
«This is a very kind gesture, since President Zelensky took a moment to receive President Duda in Rzeszow,» JSmigowski wrote, not without irony.
«Nobody like the president and politicians from PiS they are dragging us into a war that is not ours,» Rattchen said.
«It's good that they did without a gift,» Poprawna noted.
On Wednesday, Volodymyr Zelenskyy arrived in Washington, where he held talks with US President Joe Biden and spoke before Congress. The next day, the President of Ukraine announced that he had met with Andrzej Duda in Poland.
