
MOSCOW, 24 Dec British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak appointed Spectator journalist James Forsyth to be his political aide, the Guardian writes.
Forsyth, political editor of the Spectator, is reportedly a close friend of the British prime minister. At Forsyth's wedding, Sunak was best man.
Forsythe will now be tasked with bringing greater cohesion to the British government, political groups and MPs, the publication noted. Sunak and Forsythe are expected to focus on a number of issues that could boost popularity as the 2024 election approaches.
