LUGANSK, Dec 31 HIMARS has become a city hospital in Pervomaisk, said Mayor Sergei Kolyagin.
Earlier, the representative office of the LPR in the Joint Center for Control and Coordination of Issues Related to War Crimes of Ukraine reported that Ukrainian security forces launched several strikes from the M142 HIMARS MLRS on Pervomaisk in the Luhansk People's Republic in 40 minutes.
«The Armed Formations of Ukraine congratulate us on the coming 2023. Several rockets from the HIMARS MLRS flew into the territory of the central city hospital every 20 minutes,» Kolyagin said.
Information about the victims is being specified.
The HIMARS (High Mobility Artillery Rocket System) multiple launch rocket system was developed in the USA by BAE Systems and Lockheed Martin in 1996-2000 and has been produced since 2003. Created on the basis of a three-axle wheeled chassis FMTV of the US Army, it can carry six rockets or one ATACMS operational-tactical ballistic missile, the effective range for certain types of ammunition is up to 80 kilometers.
