MOSCOW, March 11 District heating has been restored in Kyiv, Mayor Vitali Klitschko said .
«The work of district heating in Kyiv was restored in full,» he wrote in his Telegram channel.
According to Klitschko, public utilities are still working on removing air from the heating systems of individual houses, nevertheless, the heat-generating equipment works in optimal parameters. «Electricity and water supply in the capital are also functioning normally,» he added.
On Thursday, an air raid alert was announced throughout Ukraine; it lasted about five hours. Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal announced the defeat of energy infrastructure facilities in eight regions of the country. Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko said on Thursday evening that a third of consumers remain without heating in the city.
Strikes on Ukrainian infrastructure of the RF Armed Forces began on October 10 — two days after the terrorist attack on the Crimean bridge, behind which, according to the Russian authorities, the Ukrainian special services stand. Strikes are being made on energy, defense industry, military administration and communications facilities throughout the country.
