MOSCOW, March 16 Russia's budget deficit will decrease in March of this year, and there will no longer be an outstripping growth in advance expenditures of the treasury, Finance Minister Anton Siluanov said.
«According to the results of March (the budget deficit of the Russian Federation — ed.), I think it will already decrease, of course. There will be no such large advances. Revenues will grow,» Siluanov told reporters on the sidelines of the RUIE congress.
Federal budget of the Russian Federation in January-February, according to preliminary estimates of the Ministry of Finance, was executed with a deficit of 2.581 trillion rubles. At the same time, treasury expenses increased by 52% compared to the same period last year, to 5.744 trillion rubles, while revenues were 25% lower — and amounted to 3.163 trillion rubles.
The head of the Ministry of Finance noted that in the first two months of this year, 22% of the annual amount of expenses was chosen. «This has never happened before.
