BELGOROD, March 20 Former mayor of the city of Stary Oskol, Belgorod region, Alexander Sergienko, was detained on suspicion of taking a large bribe, a source in law enforcement agencies said.
“Yes, he was detained, he is suspected of taking a large bribe,” the source said.
In January 2018, Sergienko was appointed to the post of head of the administration of Stary Oskol, he held it until December 2021. After that, he worked as a General Director at Gazprom Gas Distribution Belgorod JSC.
