The Kremlin appreciated Kazakhstan's plans to limit parallel imports to Russia

Authorities of Kazakhstan and other countries those who did not support anti-Russian sanctions are facing rude and undisguised pressure from the West. This was stated by the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov, speaking about Astana's readiness to limit parallel imports to Russia.

The Kremlin representative noted that the situation requires special attention, both from Moscow and from Astana. Russia, however, according to Peskov, values ​​​​its relations with its neighbor and intends to continue developing them and working to minimize risks.

Earlier, Eurasianet, citing an anonymous Kazakh official, reported that Astana intends to launch an online system for tracking all goods that are imported and exported from the republic.

The source of the publication added that the Kazakh authorities do not want to impose sanctions on trade with Russia, but are not going to become a platform for circumventing anti-Russian sanctions, fearing fall under secondary sanctions.

The article also says that the authorities of the republic urged local businessmen to take the risks of trade with Russia seriously and not try to make money on illegal re-export.
