MOSCOW, April 20 Israeli musician and writer Jonathan Gefen has died at the age of 76, according to The Times of Israel.
One of his most famous works is a collection of poems «The Sixteenth Sheep» This is a book for children, but it was also popular with adults.
Gefen was born in 1947 in Nahalal moshav in the Jezreel Valley. He belongs to the same generation as his countryman Meir Shalev, who died last week. Gefen's uncle, Moshe Dayan, served as Minister of Defense of Israel (1967-1974).
The writer's son is rock musician Aviv Gefen. The latter released several albums, which became gold and platinum in Israel.
It was previously reported that Indian film star Allu Ramesh died.
