In the Sverdlovsk region, a person died due to a fire and more than 130 residential buildings burned down, in connection with this, the Investigative Committee opened cases of negligence (Article 293 of the Criminal Code) and causing death by negligence (Article 109 of the Criminal Code). As specified in the Investigative Committee, the fire destroyed the largest number of houses in the Sosvinsky urban district. According to the regional Ministry of Emergency Situations, 110 buildings burned down in the village of Sosva, 108 of them are residential, TASS reports. RIA Novosti, citing the Ural Transport Prosecutor's Office, writes that wagons with timber burned down at the station near the village, and the railway infrastructure was also partially damaged.
