MINERALNYE VODY, April 28 Instead of Enel, Lukoil will complete the construction of a wind farm in the Stavropol Territory, Governor Vladimir Vladimirov said.
“We agreed with Lukoil, they will go to the power plant, which Enel, leaving, said: “We will not build.” Lukoil picked up this project and will complete the construction,” Vladimirov said at a meeting with Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin on Friday.
The Italian energy holding Enel, which owned a 56.43% stake in Enel Russia, announced in October 2022 the closing of a deal to sell its stake in the company. As a result of the transaction, PJSC Lukoil received a 26.9% stake in Enel Russia, AAA Capital Management acting as a trustee of the Gazprombank-Freesia fund — 29.5%.
In April 2023, EL5-Energo announced that Lukoil had increased its direct stake in the company to 56.44%.
EL5-Energo's production branches include three gas stations: Konakovskaya, Nevinnomysskaya and Sredneuralskaya GRES, as well as two wind power plants — Azovskaya WPP and Kolskaya WPP (so far, the first stage has been launched at 170 MW, 84% of the design capacity). The company's total installed capacity is 5.9 GW of electricity generation and 1.9 Gcal.h of heat.
