MOSCOW, May 4. Russian President Vladimir Putin called Russia's low public debt a good indicator, especially in comparison with other countries.
Thursday Putin holds a working meeting in the Kremlin with the Minister of Economic Development Maxim Reshetnikov, during which the current situation in the Russian economy, in particular the dynamics of macroeconomic indicators, was discussed.
«Fourteen and nine — in Russia, 121.7% — in the USA… The eurozone — 90.9%, Germany — 66.5%, France — 111.1%. Our state debt to GDP is 14.9%. A good indicator,» Putin said.
