The number of deaths from fires in the Kurgan region has increased by 19 people, sources in the medical services told TASS. Another 13 people were injured of varying severity.

According to Tatar-Inform, in Yuldus, where about a hundred people lived, there were about 400 houses, the fire destroyed more than 300. According to the agency, five residents of the village were burned alive because they did not have time to evacuate.
“The source of fire from the village was twenty kilometers away. First, a Russian village caught fire there. Also, seven criminal cases were initiated against arsonists under articles on destruction or damage to property, as well as forest plantations (Article 168 of the Criminal Code and Part 1 of Article 261 of the Criminal Code).
