The exchange of tax information between Russia and other countries is accompanied by «surprises» when the behavior of states does not depend on their status as «friendly» or «unfriendly», said Alexandra Kadet, head of the transfer pricing department of the Federal Tax Service, quoted by RBC.
» «There are countries that seem to be friendly, but for some reason they were silent for some period. <…> But there are surprises, frankly speaking: if you take a list of unfriendly countries and decide that there is no exchange with all of them, then no, this is not so,» she said.
A representative of the Federal Tax Service admitted that some states are afraid of secondary sanctions from the West, so they do not make contact. At the same time, Kadet did not specify what kind of international partners Russia is talking about.
