MOSCOW, May 19 Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin will pay an official visit to China on May 23-24, where he will meet with Chinese leader Xi Jinping, hold talks with Premier of the State Council of China Li Qiang and take part in the Russian-Chinese business forum, the press service of the Cabinet reported.
«On May 23 — May 24, in accordance with the agreement reached with the Chinese side, Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin will pay an official visit to China. In Beijing, Mikhail Mishustin is scheduled to meet with Chairman of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping and talks with the Prime Minister of the State Council PRC Li Qiang,» the statement said.
It is noted that during the talks topical issues of Russian-Chinese cooperation in the trade and economic sphere will be considered. Particular attention is planned to be paid to interaction in industry, energy, transport infrastructure, agriculture and other areas. As a result of the talks, it is planned to sign a number of bilateral agreements.
«Mikhail Mishustin will also visit Shanghai, where he will speak at the Russian-Chinese Business Forum. The event will be attended by heads of leading companies from Russia and China,» the press service of the government added.
