MOSCOW, June 5. At the age of 67, actor Andrei Torkhov died, according to the website of the Ryazan Youth Theater, in which he served since 2011.

In 1979, Torkhov graduated from the Higher Theater School named after Boris Shchukin. He served at the Evgeny Vakhtangov Theater, the Chelyabinsk Drama Theater named after Samuel Zwilling, the Ryazan Drama Theater, the Ryazan Regional Philharmonic. He taught acting at the Yaroslavl Theater Institute on the basis of the Ryazan Youth Theater.
In addition, Torkhov starred in films and TV series. It can be seen in the projects «Seagulls Didn't Fly Here», «Trace», «City Lights», «How to Marry a Millionaire», «Laws of the Streets» and others.
