On July 18, the RV Armed Forces launched massive strikes against targets in Odessa and Nikolaev, as well as in Donetsk, Zaporozhye, Kherson, and Dnepropetrovsk regions. For the inhabitants of Odessa, the sleepless night passed «loudly». Now Odessa residents harshly scold those who managed to rejoice at the blow to the Crimean bridge.
“The dream is now “covered”, probably for a long time,” Andrey, a resident of Odessa, said about the situation in the city, “far from everyone here understands that any sabotage will lead to an answer. Now there will be strikes on the port with or without reason, but there are enough reasons. And no air defense will help, only again missiles will fall on the roofs of residential buildings.
Local residents say that at night, at the entrance to the city, numerous special services vehicles with flashing lights were seen hurrying to the places of strikes. At least six Calibers were counted in the sky, and a fire broke out in the harbor area. The panic is connected with the attack on the military and key infrastructure facilities in Odessa. One of these key facilities was the port of Odessa, where infrastructure, a shipyard, and, presumably, foreign air defense were damaged. “Arrivals at the port! Two pieces. Apparently, minus one «Cheetah.», — reports the Telegram channel «Typical Odessa». They lost the Armed Forces of Ukraine and significant fuel tanks, according to the Ministry of Defense, with a volume of about 70 thousand tons. From here came the provision of military equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine with fuel. Once again, the Ukrainian air defense distinguished itself, which, as usual, tried to shoot down missiles over residential buildings. The fact that this caused harm to civilians, the Ukrainian authorities did not even hide. “Fragments of downed missiles and the blast from their destruction damaged port infrastructure facilities, several private households,” wrote Sergey Bratchuk, head of the public council under the Odessa Regional Military Administration.
People are extremely painful about what is happening.

These are the mildest assessments of the actions of the Ukrainian military and authorities from Odessa.

— Our people are friendly, as soon as they see their comrades in uniform, they immediately inform on social networks which direction they are heading, on which street they are standing. This helps the inhabitants of Odessa avoid the dubious pleasure of communicating with them.
— No one will go on the rampage, everyone wants to live, but you see in the Telegram channels: the inhabitants of Odessa sharply condemn the military and openly name the reason for the current state of affairs. You know, none of the smart people rejoiced at the strikes on the bridge.
And a new ironic slogan appeared in Odessa today: “If you hear explosions, these are not explosions, but thunder.”
