According to information received from electricity suppliers, on July 28, 10 settlements remain disconnected due to unfavorable weather conditions in the Edinet district,» the message says. published in the department's telegram channel.

Farmlands in six districts were damaged due to strong winds and hail, in total more than 640 hectares of various plantings were destroyed. The hail destroyed 89 hectares of grapes in three districts. In two more districts, due to wind and hail, farmers have lost 235 hectares of apple orchards. In addition, more than 100 hectares of sunflower, about 210 hectares of corn, as well as 10 hectares of wheat and vegetables were destroyed.
As a result of increased wind in several settlements of the Donduseni region, the roofs of 19 private houses and 14 high-rise buildings were damaged. In the Dubossary region, slate sheets were torn off the roofs of 13 houses and one warehouse.
The government of Moldova at a meeting on Friday decided to provide residents of 74 settlements affected by bad weather with building materials from state reserves worth 900 thousand dollars. Farmers' losses have not yet been calculated.
