St. Petersburg, 28 Jul. Russian President Vladimir Putin's invitation to the APEC summit in the Kremlin is unlikely to be awaited, Russia has not yet made any decisions on possible participation, press secretary of the Russian head of state Dmitry Peskov said, proposing to wait for official statements.
Earlier The Washington Post reported that the US authorities allegedly do not plan to invite Putin to the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit, which will be held in San Francisco in November. this is still far enough, we have many important events, … including at the highest level. This is the first. And secondly, this, of course, is not the invitation that we will be waiting for, obviously,» Peskov told reporters.
«We just haven't got around to it yet. And so far there has been no news on this matter,» he added in response to the question whether Russia's decision on this matter has been made.
