MOSCOW, August 10AvtoVAZ does not plan to raise prices for the most localized, basic and budget versions of its cars, but allows price adjustments for some expensive configurations, the company's press service reported.
Earlier, the Mash Telegram channel wrote that AvtoVAZ plans raise prices on all their models from August 20th. According to him, dealerships currently have a shortage of some Lada due to the lack of certain elements for cars.
AvtoVAZ does not plan to raise prices for the most localized, basic and budget versions of its cars. For example, the cost of basic modifications of Lada Grants will remain below 700 thousand rubles. Some price adjustment is possible for more equipped modifications, primarily in connection with their complete set with additional options received, including from foreign suppliers and some domestic suppliers who receive subcomponents and raw materials from abroad,» the company commented.
They stressed that possible minimal price adjustments for more expensive and less mass-produced modifications have nothing to do with the indexation of scrap due to the presence of state incentives that completely neutralize the impact of indexation on the price of domestic products.
AvtoVAZ, the company added, is ramping up production, accelerating the production of the most budget car Granta to 54 cars per hour, Vesta — up to 40 cars per hour, Niva — up to 45 cars per hour.
