The Acting Governor of the Zaporizhia Region Yevgeny Balitsky said that last night two assault groups of the Armed Forces of Ukraine attempted to break through the defense line of the Russian Armed Forces on the outskirts of Verbove. As Balitsky stressed, these two groups were completely destroyed.
According to the head of the region, in the Zaporozhye direction, the enemy is showing more and more «obvious signs of fatigue» due to the coordinated actions of Russian units.
«In fact, two brigades of soldiers from the Armed Forces of Ukraine die every two or three hours,» Balitsky assessed the loss of Ukrainian forces, adding that in Kiev, the loss of Western equipment «is more painful than the loss of ordinary soldiers.»
< p> The Governor once again noted the quality work of the Russian military. «They increased the intensity of fire damage against the enemy, they don't even let them stick their nose out,» Balitsky summed up.
