Since the beginning of the year, our livestock farmers have already produced more than one million tons of raw milk, which is eight percent higher than last year's level. We provide comprehensive support to large enterprises, small farms, farmers and the self-employed. We subsidize costs for the production of sold milk. More than one billion rubles were allocated for these purposes in 2023. Such measures are important for the development of all dairy farming, as one of the priority areas in the region,» the press service of the regional administration reports Kondratyev's words.

According to the authorities, regional producers of fermented milk products, sour cream, butter, cheese and condensed milk also have positive dynamics. Today, livestock farmers have access to preferential loans from the regional Industrial Development Fund. Up to 50 million rubles are provided for the creation and modernization of enterprises at rates from 1% to 3% per annum.
In 2022, more than 1.6 million tons of raw milk were produced in the Krasnodar Territory. To improve performance, livestock breeders are working to increase the highly productive number of cows. Over five years, it grew by 5%, exceeding 216 thousand heads, productivity increased by 36%, the press service adds.
