A St. Petersburg resident was arrested for ten days for shouting in support of Ukraine

ST. PETERSBURG, September 13. The Kirovsky District Court of St. Petersburg sentenced 10 days of administrative arrest to a local resident who drunkenly shouted slogans of the banned Right Sector at an event “in memory of great-grandfathers”*, the joint press service of the city courts reported.
As the department reports, on September 9, Artem Andrianov came to the historical public event “We are worthy of the memory of our great-grandfathers!”, organized by the Sea Gate municipality.
«Andrianov, promoting UNA-UNSO*, Right Sector* (both organizations are banned in Russia), that is, organizations recognized as extremist, shouted: “Glory to Ukraine!”… (He) explained that he was was intoxicated and did not understand what he was doing,” the judicial press service says.

The man was found guilty under the article of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation on discrediting the Armed Forces. He admitted guilt, and the court “imposed punishment in the form of administrative arrest for a period of 10 days.”
