MOSCOW, September 19 The Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) has again improved its forecast for Russia's GDP for 2023 and 2024: it now expects the country's economy to grow, it follows from the September report of the organization.
So, in the new forecast, the organization expects the Russian economy to grow by 0.8% in 2023 instead of the previously expected decline of 1.5%, and in 2024 — growth by 0.9% instead of a decline of 0 .4%.
As for consumer prices, the organization expects inflation in the Russian Federation at the end of 2023 to be 5.2% instead of the previously expected 5.4%. For 2024, the inflation forecast was maintained, expected to be 5.2%.
