The Paris prosecutor's office initiated an investigation into the alleged poisoning of the former editor of the Russian Channel One, Marina Ovsyannikova, who left the Russian Federation after a rally with a poster live and charges under administrative and criminal articles. This was reported by AFP.
Le Figaro writes that this afternoon Ovsyannikova became ill after she opened the door of her Paris apartment and “discovered powder.”
According to the publication’s sources, Ovsyannikova stated that “she was poisoned by the Russians.”
It is reported that samples were taken from Ovsyannikova’s apartment in the center of the French capital.
In early October, the Basmanny Court of Moscow sentenced Ovsyannikova in absentia to 8, 5 years in prison, having found her guilty under the article “on fakes about the army.”
