MOSCOW, October 21 The popularization of AI in the work and life of Russians will lead to an increase in the number of films and TV series about neural networks, the head of the big data product development department at Beeline shared her opinion «Alina Sadukevich.
«»In Russia they will begin to create mass series and films about AI only when this agenda becomes more relevant than other topical agendas for a significant part of society… When a significant part of the population from different cities of our country knows what AI is and use it in life and in work,” says Sadukevich.
According to the expert, the increased interest in AI in films and TV series is “not an attempt at hype,” but a reflection of current life. What seemed completely fantastic 40-50 years ago now looks like reality with some elements of science fiction. The further the development of neural networks goes, the more films will appear where AI is part of everyday life.
She added that the country already has series and films about ChatGPT, and not even fantastic ones, but more real ones: “For example, the series “Mop” about a mathematics teacher who, using mathematics and machine learning, helps look for criminals. This is closer and clearer than distant science fiction. In the series “What We Needed to Prove,” the professor helps solve crimes using theorems and calculations. These are exactly the tools that are behind the scenes when teaching AI.»
