NALCHIK, November 10 The Georgievsky City Court in the Stavropol Territory sentenced an 18-year-old local resident, who was accused of murdering a minor girl, to nine years in prison, reported Telegram channel of the regional courts.
As the court found, on the evening of June 26, 2023, in the village of Krasnokumskoye, the defendant met a 17-year-old girl with whom he had previously maintained a close relationship.
«»Due to a sudden personal hostile relationship with the girl due to the refusal to continue a close relationship <…> defendant deliberately stabbed her with a knife at least once in the back area,” the report says.
The girl began to run away, but the man caught up with her and stabbed her about 17 more times, from which she died.
““The defendant was sentenced to imprisonment for a term of 9 years to be served in a high-security correctional colony,” the message clarifies.
In addition, 1 million rubles were recovered from the convicted person in favor of a relative of the deceased as compensation for moral damage, and more than 223 thousand rubles in compensation for property damage.
