
CHELYABINSK, November 12. A passenger plane flying from Sochi to Chelyabinsk made an emergency landing due to a technical malfunction, the Ural Transport Prosecutor's Office reported.
Earlier on Sunday, emergency services said that the plane flying from Sochi and preparing for an emergency landing in Chelyabinsk landed normally, with 189 people on board.
«On the twelfth of November at 18.43 (16.43) at the Chelyabinsk airport (Balandino) «An aircraft traveling on flight No. 323 on the route Sochi — Chelyabinsk of Pobeda Airlines made an emergency landing. During landing, a technical malfunction occurred — the flaps were not extended,» the message says.
There were 181 passengers on board , including nine minors, is specified in the message.
The aircraft landed safely, no one was injured, explains the supervisory authority.
The Chelyabinsk Transport Prosecutor's Office has organized supervisory activities, the results of which will assess compliance with flight safety legislation.
