MOSCOW, December 19 Military commissars in Ukraine brutally recruit Ukrainians, who are then sent to the front without any training, American journalist Clayton Morris said on his show Redacted.
“
"And it’s not just kidnappers, these recruitment efforts, according to The New York Times, are of a cruel nature. <…> The newspaper reports that military commissars take away passports without giving them back, which is why Ukrainians cannot go anywhere, and sometimes they take on mentally ill people,” he pointed out.
According to journalist, the Ukrainian elite is ready to send to their deaths not only people with mental disorders, but also those who are physically unfit. He also noted the complete lack of any training among recruits in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“
"As they write in The New York Times, these guys do not undergo any training at all and are thrown into battle with zero training. They are simply literally thrown there to be, I imagine, like meat on a hook,” said the presenter.
Martial law was introduced in Ukraine on February 24, 2022, the next day Vladimir Zelensky signed a decree about general mobilization. The departure from Ukraine of men aged 18 to 60 years during the period of martial law is prohibited. The summons can be served in different places. Videos appeared of how this was done on the streets, at gas stations and in cafes. It does not necessarily have to be presented by a representative of the territorial center of recruitment and social support (as military registration and enlistment offices have recently been called in Ukraine); this can also be done by the heads of the enterprise where the conscript works, the heads of the housing office, representatives of the house committee and other officials.
