The St. Petersburg City Court left St. Petersburg resident Anna Alexandrova, who was arrested in the case of military “fakes,” in a pre-trial detention center. Mediazona was informed about this by the joint press service of the city courts.
On November 22, the Pushkinsky District Court of St. Petersburg sent Alexandrova under arrest; this decision was later appealed. This case has not been previously reported. Alexandrova’s lawyer refused to say what exactly her client is accused of.
Alexandrova is charged with paragraph “e” of Part 2 of Article 207.3 of the Criminal Code — public dissemination of knowingly false information motivated by political, ideological, racial, national or religious hatred or motivated by hatred against any social group.
