YAROSLAVL, January 2 Seven people were injured in a collision of three cars in the Kaluga region, reports the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the region.
According to the police, the accident occurred on the M-3 highway at 15.43 Moscow time.
«According to preliminary information, a collision occurred between three vehicles. As a result of the accident, 7 people were injured,» the report says.
The Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs clarifies that, previously, the driver of the Kia Rio, moving towards Bryansk, drove into the lane intended for oncoming traffic, where he collided with Kia Optima and Skoda Rapid cars. The details of the incident are being established.
