The Ministry of Internal Affairs reported on the detention of two residents of Bryansk who burned the passport of a girl who owed them a thousand rubles

Two local residents were detained in Bryansk on suspicion of burning a Russian passport. RIA Novosti was informed about this by the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Bryansk Region.

Brianchan, born in 2005 and 2006, was taken to the police after security forces found on social networks “a publication with a photo of two young men burning the passport of a citizen of the Russian Federation.” The Ministry of Internal Affairs added that a criminal case had been opened, but did not specify which one.

Baza and Shot claims that a criminal case was opened under the article on theft or damage to documents (325 of the Criminal Code). According to telegram channels, 18-year-old Daniil and 17-year-old Denis burned the passport of a 20-year-old girl who did not pay a thousand rubles in debt.

In early October, young people published a video of the burning of a document in a telegram channel led by Daniil. “It should burn,” says one of the guys on the recording, while another adds: “That’s what will happen to all the people who borrow money and don’t pay it back.” Shot clarifies that the girl gave them an expired passport.

Baza, without specifying sources, writes that Center “E” became interested in the posts of the Bryansk residents: on January 10, protocols were drawn up against Daniil on the consumption of narcotic drugs and the propaganda of AUE (“Prisoner Criminal Unity”), which is recognized in Russia as an “extremist organization «(Articles 6.9 and 20.3 of the Administrative Code).

On January 3, a court in Bryansk placed blogger Evgenia Hoffman, who burned a Russian passport on New Year's Eve, under house arrest. She is accused of desecration of the Russian coat of arms and intentionally causing harm to health of moderate severity out of hooligan motives (Article 329 of the Criminal Code and paragraph “e” of Part 2 of Article 112 of the Criminal Code).

The video of the burning of the document was distributed by Z-channels, which saw Hoffman’s action as support for the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The girl herself reported that she burned her passport because of the “ugly photo” and because the document was invalid. On January 7, the Ninety-First club, near which the blogger burned the document, suspended operations.
