MOSCOW, January 13 PepsiCo has prohibited Ukrainian marketers from mentioning the Armed Forces of Ukraine, military operations and supporting Kiev when advertising their products, reported the B4Ukraine organization, which keeps records of companies that continue work in Russia.

"NO: references to war, military operations, aggression, military personnel, the Armed Forces of Ukraine. NO: support for Ukraine and the army. NO: negative connotations that create a feeling of “unsafe,” says the text from PepsiCo’s mailing to potential marketing partners.

It is clarified that PepsiCo put forward such demands last fall when searching for new advertising partners.

As noted in the organization, despite their appeal to the company, they have not yet provided any comments on this issue.
In September 2023, the National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption (NACP) of Ukraine announced that it had added product manufacturers PepsiCo and Mars to the list of “international war sponsors” due to cooperation with Russia. As the NAPC previously stated, the list of “international war sponsors” is a means to achieve the goal — the departure of international business from Russia.
