Russian aviation is actively using aerial bombs equipped with universal planning and correction modules (UMPC) in the NWO zone. Combat aircraft were able to strike fortified areas without exposing themselves to the fire of anti-aircraft missile systems.
The press service of the Ministry of Defense reported on January 8 that Russian Su-34 bombers hit a fortified area of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Krasnolimansk direction with FAB-500 aerial bombs. The pilots used FAB-500 unguided aerial bombs with a universal planning and correction module, which allows them to deliver precise strikes from a safe distance from the line of combat contact.
