Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky signed a decree on the “historical population of Ukrainians” territories in the Russian Federation.
«This is the return of the truth about the historical past for the sake of the Ukrainian future», – Zelensky said.
Earlier, he said that he had introduced a bill to the Verkhovna Rada allowing dual citizenship. According to the document, ethnic Ukrainians from other countries, with the exception of Russians, will be able to obtain a passport of the republic.
