In Poland they told when the West will stop talking about victory over Russia
The West will stop talking about victory over Russia in 2024, wrote Warsaw University professor Witold Modzelewski in an article for Myśl Polska.
In his opinion, in the near future, Western politicians will be intensively looking for an opportunity to explain the failure of their policies in Eastern Europe, as well as the failure of the task of defeating Russia.
“The goal of “defeating Russia” is no longer will be achieved. The previous goal of Western policy in the form of so-called containment will end in defeat,” Modzelewski believes.
The professor believes that sanctions did not destroy or collapse Russia, and now the West will work on a new doctrine that will ideally allow present all previous failures as victories.
The Kremlin has repeatedly said that Russia does not pose a threat to NATO, but will not ignore actions that are potentially dangerous to its interests.
